What is patent licensing?
Patent Licensing is a path for inventors and engineers to monetize their patented inventions without placing financial strain on their everyday lives. The process begins with a thorough analysis of your patent followed by research of companies or entities within related industries to identify potential licensees. If it is determined that an entity is using your patent without a license, we initiate contact with them to offer a license. Terms of license will be negotiated (i.e. exclusive/non-exclusive, duration, compensation, and etc.). And once acceptable terms are reached, our attorneys will draft a binding agreement between parties, at which point all relevant parties will execute the license agreement and payment schedule.

After careful evaluation of potential licensees we will work with you to choose the most advantageous path of procuring licensing agreements.
Step 4
Once a strategy has been agreed upon, our attorneys will contact the potential licensee(s) and our team will initiate negotiations with any potential licensee(s) until acceptable terms for all parties have been reached.
Step 5
With agreed terms, our attorneys will draft licensing agreements after which all relevant parties will execute the licensing agreement and payment schedule.
